Don’t mind if Oui do…

 11 - 14 September - Grignan, France

We couldn’t be more excited to celebrate our wedding weekend with you—the people we love. We’ve done our best to include all the important details here, but if you have any questions or need anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Sian & Michael

Welcome to Paris

Our address is 11 Rue de Verneuil, 75007. We love this area—it’s quiet but just a stone’s throw from some of Paris’s most beautiful landmarks.

We recommend staying in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, or 9th arrondissements—they all have a great vibe and are within easy reach of all the city has to offer. We’ve pinned a few hotel options as well as some of our favourite places on a map here:

Getting There

The trip from Paris to Grignan will take approximately 3.5 hours - the most direct and convenient route is to take a train from Gare de Lyon to Valence and then travel by car to the property. Rental cars and taxis are available at Valence train station, but we can also organise a group transfer depending on everyone’s preference. Train tickets in France sell out well in advance, so we recommend booking the following trains as soon as possible, so we can all travel together:

Thursday, 11th September.

Paris Gare de Lyon to Valence TGV Rhône-Alpes Sud

Train: TGV INOUI 6275
Depart: 10:55 AM | Arrive: 1:05 PM

Sunday 14th September

Valence TGV Rhône-Alpes Sud to Paris Gare de Lyon

Train: TGV INOUI 6048
Depart: 1:58 PM | Arrive: 4:13 PM

  • Nestled in the heart of Provence, Grignan is a picturesque village renowned for its historic charm and breathtaking landscapes. Dominated by the majestic Château de Grignan, the village offers sweeping views of lavender fields, vineyards, and rolling countryside.

With its cobbled streets, quaint cafés, and artisan boutiques, Grignan invites visitors to slow down and savor the beauty of southern France. The area is also rich in Provençal flavors—local wines, truffles, and olive oil—making it a perfect destination for those who love good food, history, and stunning natural scenery.

We would like to keep the property details as a surprise, but if you would prefer to make your own way down, please get in touch and we will share the address.

  • First and foremost, wear whatever makes you feel your best. The wedding won’t be overly formal, but we do want it to feel like a special evening. If we had to name a dress code, we’d call it cocktail attire in a relaxed garden setting.

  • With a little good fortune, we can expect warm sunny days and cooler evenings - perfect for poolside lounging and open-air aperitifs.

    • Daytime: 24–28°C

    • Evenings: 14–17°C

  • Breakfast and dinner will be served at the property, thoughtfully prepared by a chef who specialises in locally sourced ingredients.

If you have any dietary requirements, please get in touch as soon as you can so we can accommodate your needs.

We’ve intentionally kept lunches open to give everyone the chance to explore and enjoy the local food scene at your own pace.

  • The property is well-equipped with everything we might need for a comfortable stay.

There are beautiful walking trails nearby that lead up to the castle — if that sounds like your kind of adventure, be sure to bring comfortable shoes. There's also a heated pool on-site, so don’t forget your swimmers!

The weather can be a little mixed this time of year, so we recommend packing something warm for the evenings.
